Never be without a Rubber...Tire

Get your mind out of the gutter...This is something I have never seen in the U.S. It's a vending machine for bicycle tubes located just a block from my apartment. Offers both presta and schrader valves, along with an assortment of sizes (you can double-click the photo to better see the details). However, nothing for 700x23 or 700x32 tires, so it likely won't see my business. Plus, at 6€/tube it's a bit pricy. Nonetheless, I like the idea and it gives one an indication of how much cycling is used as actual transportation around here.

  1. What do they do for air? I'm thinking if you're buying a tube from a vending machine, then you're probably in the market for air as well.

  2. Fortunately, air is ubiquitous.
